A creative collaboration that reimagined Haute Home’s collection through product photography and catalog design

The Challenge: Turning Hand-Drawn Ideas into a Professional Brand Presence

Jane Leider, principal designer of Haute Home Linens, first hired me to evolve her wholesale line list from hand-drawn sketches into professional photography. What began as a single catalog shoot grew into a long-standing creative partnership—one where Jane led the styling and I brought her vision to life through carefully crafted product photography, both in my former San Francisco studio and on-location at her retail space and home.

The Approach

We focused on highlighting the texture, color, and handmade details of each piece through lighting and composition choices. Using strobes and softbox lighting, I crafted visuals that aligned with Jane’s elevated yet approachable aesthetic.

The Execution

Product Photography: Photographed Haute Home’s embroidered linens with a soft, natural look that captured their inviting warmth and texture.

Catalog Design: Applied the visual style to catalogs, line lists and lookbooks that served both wholesale buyers and retail customers.

Ongoing Brand Support: The consistent visual storytelling became a central part of Haute Home’s identity, helping to elevate not just the appearance of her products, but how they’re showcased in marketing and advertising.

Jane and I worked side by side at my former San Francisco studio, where she enjoyed stepping into the role of stylist—artfully arranging each shot with the same care she puts into her designs. Her passion for detail and love of high-quality textiles made the collaboration both seamless and inspiring.
