Fundraising Brochure Design and Branding for EatSF
Designing a Mission-Driven Identity and Print Collateral to Support Fundraising for a Public Health Initiative
The Challenge: Creating a Print Piece to Inspire Support for a Critical Food Access Program
EatSF needed a professionally designed fundraising brochure to engage donors and communicate its impact to supporters, public health partners, and potential funders. The goal was to help raise awareness, secure funding, and elevate the professionalism of the program’s outreach materials — all while staying rooted in the community-focused spirit of the work.
The Approach
I designed the EatSF logo, core visual identity, and an offset-printed brochure that served as a flagship fundraising piece. The content needed to be welcoming, informative, and emotionally resonant. The layout blended bold infographics, personal testimonials, and clear data storytelling to reinforce both urgency and optimism.
The Execution
Logo and Brand Design: Created a simple, friendly logo and identity system that reflected EatSF’s community values and health-focused mission.
Fundraising Brochure Design: Designed a multi-page printed brochure for offset production — combining data, testimonials, and vibrant visuals to support donor engagement and funding applications.
Print Production Oversight: Prepared files for high-quality offset printing and ensured production details met accessibility, color accuracy, and readability standards.
Impact-Driven Storytelling: Helped shape the visual delivery of key impact stats — including how EatSF vouchers improved access to healthy food and supported San Francisco’s local economy.
The campaign was successful in raising new funding for the program, helping EatSF reach thousands more low-income San Franciscans with fresh produce vouchers in the years following the brochure’s release.

The Tenderloin is one of San Francisco’s most severe food deserts. Through the EatSF voucher program, local convenience stores are now stocking fresh fruits and vegetables more frequently — in some cases increasing deliveries from twice a week to five times a week — helping improve access to healthy food for entire neighborhoods.
If you’d like to support a meaningful cause, consider donating to EatSF. They’re doing incredible work to bring fresh, healthy food to San Franciscans in need — and over 10,000 people are still on the waiting list. Every donation helps expand access to nutritious produce across the city. Learn more by visiting EatSFVoucher.org
