Brand Identity and Mobile App Design Support for EatGreen

Creating the Visual Foundation and Launch Assets for a Plant-Based Food Discovery App

The Challenge: Designing a Look and Feel to Support a Mission-Driven Food App for Travelers

EatGreen needed to stand out in the competitive mobile app space, and strong mobile app branding was essential to clearly communicate its mission: helping travelers discover healthy, plant-based food options in airports around the world. The challenge was to quickly develop a cohesive identity system and supporting visuals that could help the founders gain traction, pitch to investors, and prepare for launch.

The Approach

I worked closely with the founding team to create a flexible identity system and a suite of visuals that could grow with the brand. This included app UI mockups, marketing collateral, and a landing page design that brought the EatGreen mission to life. The visual style was designed to feel fresh, modern, and universally appealing — with a focus on trust, simplicity, and ease of navigation.

The Execution

Brand Identity Design: Created a foundational visual system for the app, including logo, color palette, typography, and icon style.

UI/UX Support: Designed app interface mockups and provided visual guidance for mobile developers building the MVP.

Marketing Collateral: Delivered pitch decks, promotional materials, and branded templates for use in investor outreach and early marketing efforts.

Website Landing Page Design: Designed and built a mobile-friendly landing page to capture early interest and communicate the app’s core value proposition.

Product Development Support: Collaborated with the founding team to ensure brand consistency across assets during the app’s early development phase.

CASE STUDY

Connecting millions of travelers with healthier, plant-based food options
in airports worldwide.

EatGreen was developed to meet the rapidly rising demand for easier access to healthy, sustainable menu options in mainstream venues, like airports. The plant-based food industry has soared in the past few years, driven in large part by millennial consumers who want healthier, more sustainable food choices, especially when traveling. Airports and their foodservice operators have taken notice of this massive market opportunity and many are getting on board by offering plant-based
menu options. However they don’t highlight where or how to find them.

As devoted advocates of sustainability and plant-based alternatives, the founders of EatGreen saw the gap that exists between the demand for these foods and the ability to find them in dauntingly large venues. The seeds for the new app were sewn.
